Hello and thank you for your interest! / LinkedIn Profile
My professional journey began in 2011 in the field of embedded programming at Behr-Hella Thermocontrol. There, I worked in the standard software team with a focus on AUTOSAR and was able to deepen my knowledge of C and C++. At the same time, I learned a lot about software architectures and the development of complex systems.
In 2014, I decided to return to university. I was able to finance my studies through freelance work at van Rickelen. There, I not only worked on embedded software systems but also became familiar with the development of desktop applications using Java, VBA, and C#. One particularly exciting experience for me was serving as the lead developer in a larger project, where I was also involved in the system architecture.
In 2018, together with two friends, I founded my own start-up. Although we had to discontinue the project at the end of 2019, the experience was incredibly educational and exciting. The project focused on blockchain-based identities, which eventually led to the creation of Blobaa. During this phase, I worked extensively with JavaScript, TypeScript, and technologies such as Node.js, React.js, Next.js, and React Native.
We were also able to celebrate some great successes during that time: among other things, we won an online hackathon for the Ardor blockchain and achieved third place in a challenge at the Odyssey Hackathon. Odyssey describes itself as the largest hackathon focused on blockchain and AI.
From April 2020 to September 2022, I was part of CHAINSTEP GmbH, where I continued working on the design and implementation of blockchain-based projects.
In August 2020, I completed my master’s degree and once again won a hackathon based on the Ardor blockchain with my master’s thesis.
Since English is not my native language, I developed a small proofreading tool for English texts as part of my master’s thesis, based on the translation engine from DeepL. At the beginning of 2021, this evolved into a new project called checkL.
Since October 2022, I have been working at consider-it GmbH, a sister company of CHAINSTEP GmbH. I had the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning in the development of a new product family in the field of V2X. There, I helped establish the cloud-based products and am now responsible for maintaining and further developing them. What I particularly enjoy is the combination of architecture, implementation, and DevOps, where I can apply my previous experience in many different ways.
Since May 2026, I have also been focusing more intensively on LLMs and generative AI.
Overall, I have been fortunate to work with many different technologies and platforms — from low-level hardware development to desktop and mobile applications, all the way to cloud-based systems.
What motivates me most are new challenges, exciting technologies, and continuous learning. I am a big fan of e-learning platforms, open-source software, and the concept of the four-day workweek, which allows people to experiment with new ideas and pursue their own projects.
I hope you enjoyed reading this, and I appreciate your interest :)
